I noticed that Mastodon has adopted this too, great to see. I will be bringing this to Pixelfed later this year as well 😁
I'm super proud of how I implemented deeply nested comment permalinks in Loops.
It's a bit trickier than say Mastodon, where you just need the parent post context (and maybe children) since we only display comments in the video permalink.
And the UI I designed for this makes it really easy to view the comment and even the parent if applicable.

If @loops supported some kind of crowd-content moderation, with configurable rules, like
Show me all the videos with the #cat tag where at least 3 pepple confirmed is of cats. Then I can configure an account and feed for my kid to spend some screen time. This would be much more advanced moderation/customization than what Instagram and TikTok would be willing to implement.
Is something like that possible?

Admins can create custom invite links w/ custom messages, max # of uses, optional expiry date and more ✨
These invites will work even if registration is closed, and are easily updatable via the admin dashboard.
You can even reactivate deleted/expired invite links 😉

@pixelfed I just closed my #Pixelfed account. It was an interesting experience and the platform has potential but it needs *A LOT* of work.
Both the #mobile app and #web UI are slow, confusing, and need redesigns. There is an #Instagram #migration tool but it is broken. And then there are inconsistencies with showing the same number of boosts and comments when viewed from #Mastodon vs Pixelfed.
Believe me, I'd love to see it take off and be a successful platform but it seems that the time and energy has gone into #Loops instead. It feels like Pixelfed is on the verge of becoming #abandonware.
I also added a bunch of new i18n keys for the new Loops Invite feature, almost every string (besides the admin dashboard) is translatable.
I even wrote a few commands to help me find duplicates and analyze them.
