With each week we should escalate the frequency and duration of our actions. More walkouts, more strikes, more shutdowns. Streets, blocks, businesses. And we should prepare to support people being fired from jobs. We should stop spending money. Save what we have for such activity. Be prepared to house people in your home. Be prepared to cook and feed people. If we're going to win that has to become a focus not a side thing we do on weekends.
"IWW organizer Joseph Ettor said:
If the workers of the world want to win, all they have to do is recognize their own solidarity. They have nothing to do but fold their arms and the world will stop. The workers are more powerful with their hands in their pockets than all the property of the capitalists..
It was an immensely powerful idea."
They didn't protest on Saturdays, rather, mass walkouts with #solidarity in large numbers for days of DISRUPTION during the work week. #Organize #Resist

Want to know how we go about fighting #fascism? We're already doing some of that everyday as we defend and support our immigrant brothers and sisters. What else? I suggest that we read A People's History of the United States, particularly chapters 11 to 13 if we want jump right to the direct action of the late 1800s to early 1900s. Not really a manual but it describes the #generalstrikes from the rural to the urban. This is the spirit of #struggle and day-to-day #resistance we need.
